This is just after the last photo, or was it before I can’t recall exactly. This girl really stood out, I thought her sense of style and flow was really nice and she was just sat there reading. I was particularly drawn to the positioning of her legs and I’m not talking in the usual woof woof perving sense but something beyond that really – the aesthetic and the curve were very interesting. I did take a few shots trying to get the flow of the legs (limbs limbs and more limbs) but got it wrong as I isolated too much so lost context and focus in the photo. It is a real shame as I think those other photos had potential to be very powerful images.
Anyway in this one again I like the contrasts between the rigidity of the structures and the flow of the girl, so many nice shapes and lines for my eye. I used the blurring of the table again as I am of course (as always) shooting wide open. The bars past her face are quite harsh and I wasn’t sure how to nullify that without getting in closer.
Still so much to work on but I kinda like this shot
